iPod Madness
Loyal readers of this site know that I'm a huge fan of the iPod. A cool Apple/Duke University experiment demonstrates further traction this nifty device is getting in the marketplace. When I was in NYC a couple of weeks ago, I remarked to Laura about just how *many* iPods I saw locals carrying around. On the subway...in Central Park...at the Guggenheim. Mini white headphones spilling out of ears everywhere you look. Steve recently noticed the same thing!
WALKING ON MADISON
"I was on Madison, and it was, like, on every block, there was someone with white headphones, and I thought, 'Oh, my God, it's starting to happen'."
Apple CEO Steve Jobs, on the cult of iPod, Newsweek, 26 July 2004
(thanks Owen)
