Tomorrow marks the six day late milestone. At this point, LB and I are pretty cool about the whole situation. Labor will happen when it's meant to happen. We're both over the fact that computers were *way* wrong on this one! We distracted ourselves with a wonderful dinner at Village Pub tonight. We'll see what the weekend has in store...
Still no news. We have a doc. appt. tomorrow to (again) get a more official assessment of the situation. As a potential labor inducer, we sampled a number of the fresh, homemade spicy salsas at La Estrellita in Los Altos last night. But alas...no luck. Great dinner, though!
No sign of the little one just yet. We're now officially one day past our schedule delivery date of March 20. Lots of activity and kicking in there, but no contractions yet. Computers certainly have been known to be wrong...so perhaps today will be the big day.
The Seed is due today. But all is quiet on the birthing front... Kind of frustrating, but I guess it's best to let nature decide. Afterall, it was probably a computer that spit out 3/20 as our "official" due date. I'll keep this space posted on progress...
Has Google Images ever let you down? You looked long and hard for a photograph of something, and never found it? That's where PhotoRogue.com comes in. You can request a picture of anything you want, and volunteer photographers will go out and attempt to actually take the picture you want. It's entirely free, although we don't guarantee that your request will ever be filled.
You could request: a photo of the Golden Gate bridge at night, a baby with blue booties, an old man giving a thumbs-up, a 1996 Ford Escort, a full moon over a cemetery, or that cute girl who works at the cafe by your house. You can request ANYTHING, and we'll try to make it happen. Typically we'll return between two and ten pictures.
