Introducing Google Scholar

Here's a nifty new search service we're testing that will help you locate a wide variety of scientific papers, theses, technical abstracts, etc. It's also a small tribute to the strong academic roots that run through the veins of our company. Google Scholar was developed by an early engineer friend of mine who basically did this in his free time (or 20% time, if you follow Google closely). Here's a sample search query that displays a wide variety of information my father has published over the years.

Still interested? Read more in the NYT (registration required) and the official FAQ.

UPDATE: My father says this query returns a more representative sample of his work.

UPDATE #2: More family references found...(this time, it's my uncle)

  • A nice and innovative tool.

    Thanks for sharing.
